What is in partnership with patient access?

In partnership with Patient Access connects you to local health services when you need them most. Book GP appointments, order repeat prescriptions and discover local health services for you or your family via your mobile or home computer.

How do I register for patient access in England?

If you live in England, you can register for Patient Access online, create a basic Patient Access account and then connect with your practice using the steps below.

What is Klinik Access?

Klinik Access online consultation and appointment solution means you can submit any medical query, including requests for an appointment, at a time when it suits you. The online service helps you to: Contact your GP if you feel unwell. Request an appointment.

How does Klinik work?

Klinik makes contacting your GP quick and easy 1 Easier and quicker than calling the surgery 2 24/7 availability 3 Reduces waiting times and faster access to the right treatment 4 Safe and secure 5 Works on all your devices – your phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer

How to link a patient to a practice?

Click on your name in the top right-hand corner, then select Account. Scroll down to the Link a practice or user section. Select either: Link to my practice (to link to your practice). Link another patient to your account (to act on behalf of another patient as a proxy). Locate your new practice (or the patient's practice for a proxy user) ...

Can you link a proxy to a patient?

You would use this same process if you have been registered as a proxy user for a patient or relative, and already use Patient Access. This process will allow you to link your account to the patient.

Can you delete your patient account at a new practice?

You are now linked to your new practice (or the patient you are caring for) and you'll have access to all enabled services. Alternatively, for patients who have moved practices, Patient Access can send you a delete account email and you can delete your account and re-register from scratch at your new practice.

I can't sign in and my details are correct

Even if you are confident you have the correct details, try recovering your User ID ( using this link) and resetting your password ( using this link ).

Could it be a problem with my web browser?

A web browser (commonly referred to as a browser) is a software application for accessing information on the World Wide Web.

Can I share a sign in email address?

Unfortunately, it is also no longer possible to share an email address on Patient Access. This is because we use the email address as a unique identifier to ensure the account security and confidentiality.

Can I reset my Memorable Word?

You can reset your Memorable Word by clicking Forgot my Memorable word on the sign in screen once you have successfully entered your password. T his will take you to a different screen that allows you to update your Memorable Word and hint.

Account locked

If you enter an incorrect password 8 times, your account will automatically be locked for 1 hour. If you typed the password incorrectly, wait 1 hour then try again. If you have forgotten your password, select Forgotten Password .
