How long does it take for a GP to access a medical record?

The practice requires 20 working days to process enhanced access (access to detailed medical records). This is to allow for the GP data checks to be completed.

When does a young person have to turn off proxy access?

On the young person’s 16th birthday the clinical system will switch off all the remaining proxy access except where the young person is competent and has given explicit consent to the access. A young person may decide at a point, once they are mature enough to act autonomously, to request access themselves.

Is there a wheelchair accessible parking lot at the surgery?

The surgery car park has disabled parking spaces and a ramp for wheelchair access to the surgery. If you are coming alone, and need assistance, please telephone the surgery prior to your arrival so someone can be there to help. The surgery is also equipped with toilet facilities which have access for the disabled.
