Parkbury House offer same day appointments for new and urgent concerns via our duty doctor telephone consultation system. Simply speak to a doctor on the day and we will provide advice, prescription or appointment with healthcare professional as necessary. This service is available morning and afternoon each day.

What happens if you don't pass the screening process?

If a visitor does not pass the screening process or does not follow hospital protocols, they will not be allowed to visit. Behavioral Health visitors will be screened upon arrival at the Behavioral Health entrance on the backside of the facility, Door “M.”.

Can you visit a nursing home in New York?

We are pleased to let you know that there will be no restrictions on nursing home visits at this time. Scheduled visits are no longer required. Please be advised that Covid-19 may be present in the building, however, visits may take place with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clear understanding of the risks faced with this type of visit. That said, we still must maintain safety of all residents and the following rules will apply. Arriving at the facility, all visitors must check in at the main entrance of the hospital. They then go directly to their residents unit and check in at the desk with staff and sign in (this is imperative to ensure our ability to contact trace in the event we have positive cases).

What is Patient Online Access?

Patient Online Access allows you to view your current medication, adverse reactions & allergies and immunisation record. It allows you to book and cancel an appointment and change your personal details. You will also be able to see any coded information in your record and see test results. You can choose to share your record and you can Message the practice.

How long does it take to get access to a surgery?

Please remember to go home and log in immediately to test that the access is working. Access to everything else takes up to two weeks to authorise. Your access will automatically update once this is done and you will receive an email to let you know you have this access.

Can parents give access to a child's online record?

Please note: We are now able to give parents, guardians and carers ‘Proxy Access’ to a child’s online record. More information
