Welcome to Lonsdale Medical Group We are an NHS GP Training Practice in Queens Park.  Our main site is Lonsdale Medical Centre and we have a branch site located in Kilburn Lane called Blessing Site. All patients registered with Lonsdale can use either of our sites.

How to register for Patient Access

Patient Access is a great online service which allows you to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your medical records and send secure messages to the practice. The services is open 24/7/365 and can be accessed from your home PC, Tablet or Mobile phone.

You can also register for this service online without visiting your practice by clicking here. This method creates a basic account that allows you to book only one appointment.

How to request repeat prescriptions at Lonsdale?

Repeat Prescription RequestsWe are asking patients to please send requests online via Patient Access or email to [email protected] details of the pharmacy we should send your prescription to. All Prescriptions will be sent electronically to the Pharmacy. For help with this, please speak to a member of Reception.  If you have no access to any form of online, then please come to the Practice and complete a paper request. Routine ReferralsThe hospitals and community services are starting to see patients for routine referrals again, but this is a staggered process. Please do not call us regarding this, our phone lines need to be left for people who are unwell and cannot use the online systems. We are making a plan to re-refer all outstanding referrals. What is the NHS 111 number?

www.111.nhs.uk is also available 24/7 for urgent health advice or by calling 111, and 999 is for emergencies.

How long does it take for a blood test to come back?

Standard blood test results are available 48 hours after appointment. Other test results make take longer (cervical smears can take 2-6 weeks), however all results are accessible via Patient Access.

How long can you use the iCal system?

You can use the system 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. You can also use the system to send administrative queries if you have a question relating to test results, fit note requests, letters, medical reports or have a general enquiry.

What is the number to call if you have a life threatening condition?

If your condition is urgent or life-threatening, then please dial 999.

You will only be contacted by the team if your doctor needs to discuss your results.

Can lab results come back as abnormal?

Some results may come back as ‘abnormal’ however please note this is a standard response for any results that come back from the laboratory outside of the margin of typically ‘normal’. Results are permitted to run above and below the norm within a certain capacity, and thus clinicians go through all results taking into account patient’s medical conditions.

Does Lonsdale Medical Group have AstraZeneca?

Please note, Lonsdale Medical Group has limited availability of vaccines and only provides the AstraZeneca. If you wish to have the Pfizer, please call the surgery to be booked in via our PCN (Primary Care Network) extended services called K&W, with sites at The Swaminarayan School in Neasden, and Wembley Centre for Health and Care.
