Any patients that are registered with practices using EMIS PCS can book appointments and order repeat prescriptions online.

How to import a patient registration letter into EMIS?

1. From the main menu, click Word Configurationin the Administration and Documents section, or type WC. 2. Select the folder where you want to store the template. 3. Click Import/Exportor press P, and then click Import Template. The Open screen is displayed. 4. Navigate to navigate to the practice directory, select the registration letter template file, (Patient_Service_Registration_Letter.dot), and then click Open. The standard Patient Access registration letter template is imported into EMIS PCS.

How to sign in to emisaccess?

1. Go to the patient access website: https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk. The Patient Access Welcome screen is displayed. To sign in, you need to use the Sign in section, shaded in yellow, on the right-hand side of the screen. 2. In the User ID field, type your user ID.

How to suspend repeat prescribing?

Note:If you later need to suspend Repeat Prescribing for all patients, select Repeat Prescribingon the Feature Configuration screen, and then click Suspendor press S.

How to change appointment status in EA?

1. From the main menu, click EMIS Accessin the Communications section, or type EA. The Patient Configuration screen is displayed. 2. Click Configurationor press C. The Feature Configuration screen is displayed. 3. Select Appointment Booking, and then click Optionsor press O. 4. Click Clinicianor press C. The Clinician Configuration screen is displayed. 5. Select a clinician. 6. Click Update Clinician Statusor press Uand select one of the following to specify which of the selected clinician’s appointments you want to make available on the Patient Access website:
